Your studio, one touch away
A visual control surface for video editors, built on the tablet or phone you already own. Fast access to DaVinci Resolve — and to the files, links, documents and resources the edit runs on.
Windows and macOS. Resolve-specific tiles require DaVinci Resolve Studio.
The problem
Resolve has hundreds of commands. You use maybe thirty regularly and can reliably recall twelve. The rest live in menus, and every trip to a menu is a break in flow. Meanwhile the things you reach for constantly — a logo sting, a lower third, the client's brand colour, a stock SFX folder, the render queue — are not commands at all. They are stuff, scattered across folders, bins and apps.

Action Tiles
Design the deck on the desktop. The exact same deck appears on your phone, your tablet and any second browser on the network.
Tiles span any rectangular footprint. Mix compact 1×1 controls with a 2×2 feature tile or a full-width strip.
Drag to move, drag edges to resize, right-click to edit. A footprint picker previews the new size, highlights anything it would overwrite in red, and asks before it commits. Undo and redo throughout.
Label, text colour, font, solid fill, gradient, a Material Symbols icon or your own image. Pick an app and the deck grabs its real icon automatically.
The catalog
Resolve control, SparkFX tools, system actions and utilities. Every one of them assignable to any footprint on the grid. The Resolve tiles work with DaVinci Resolve Studio; the rest run on their own.

The difference
A physical deck can fire a hotkey. It knows nothing about your project. SparkFX Deck tiles are live readouts and interactive controls — they read your timeline and drive it back.
A hotkey pad can send a keystroke. It cannot show you your markers.

Shared tiles stay in sync across every screen viewing the same deck. A countdown started on the phone shows the same time on the desktop.
In the edit
Most of what slows an edit down is navigation and fetching. These tiles remove the trip entirely.

Media folder
Point a tile at a folder and the Deck shows you what is in it — photos, video and audio, laid out to look at rather than listed by filename.
Tap a file and it drops onto the timeline at the playhead. No bin, no import dialog, no hunting through folders on the desktop.
Spark CutNotes
Pull up your videos and play them on the device in your hand. Sit back from the desk and watch the cut the way it will actually be watched.
Add a note at the current frame and it pins to the exact timecode, tagged as edit, VFX or audio. Draw boxes and arrows right on the frame to call out exactly what you mean, then mark it done or agreed, so the pass you made on the sofa is waiting for you on the timeline and in your renders.

More than tiles
The Deck's home screen gives the device a dashboard of your most-used actions, Quick Links for saved media, folders and links you can insert straight into Resolve, and visual timeline bookmarks with thumbnails.
Other eligible SparkFX tools open back on the computer, launched from the device in your hand.

Start fast
SparkFX ships system tile sets — designed decks that work out of the box on desktop and phone, and update automatically.
Copy any system set into your own sets to customize it.
Export and import tile sets as .spxtiles packages, images included — hand a deck to an editor on another machine.

SparkFX Deck works on every install. Most tile types are free and unlimited, and the free deck is a real deck — not a demo. A handful of tile types and the larger multi-set, multi-page layouts unlock with a SparkFX subscription.
Put that old tablet back to work and start editing faster.
